Tracing Your Old to New

Description

Tracing is for the sewers that are confident in sewing, and know how to put garments together.

It’s a fun and exciting lesson, sometimes what ever your tracing to the new, looks better then the old.

Lesson involves…..

– Tracing your garment

– Cutting and sewing a toile in case of adjustments

– If required adjusting toile

– Sewing the real thing

Please keep it simple, as you may not have enough time to finish.

Keep in mind

Tracing is fun can get tricky; if you don’t have the correct fabric choice your traced garments may not look like original, please choose fabric wisely

Same fabric is alway best.

What you will need

– Tracing paper or tracing fabric as long as it’s transparent

-you can also use the tracing wheel with carbon paper

– your Fabric choice

– Calico or Toile fabric

– Sewing machine and all accessories

– Scissors, pins, measuring tape, matching thread, ruler, marker etc

– Accessories required for your garment zipper, buttons, bias tape, etc
